Abstract

In this study, we investigate gravitational lensing by rotating wormholes in the braneworld framework. By deriving the deflection angle for a rotating wormhole spacetime with extra-dimensional contributions, we analyze how rotation and braneworld effects modify lensing signatures. The metric incorporates a rotational parameter , and the resulting deflection angle includes additional contributions arising from extra-dimensional braneworld corrections. Our results show, for the first time, the coupled contribution of rotation and braneworld corrections to the deflection angle, including an explicit dependence on the expansion factor, which is absent in previous rotating. These corrections distinguish braneworld wormholes from general relativistic analogs, offering new insights into distinguishing rotating wormholes from black holes and testing braneworld cosmology through gravitational lensing.
